If you’re like me and love what Zara’s concept then you’ve probably been awaiting the announcement:
September 7th, Zara is launching it’s online shop in the US. To celebrate this magnanimous event, Zara sent me a deck of beautiful post cards, called “Dear America” with beautiful photographs especially curated in celebration of the US launch. For you viewing pleasure, here are just some of the photos.
Dear Utah, by Nich Hance McElroy
Dear Delaware, by Peter Zachary Voelker
Dear New Jersey, by Matthew Coleman
I have all 50 states. If you’re curious to know what your state looks like. Let me know and I will send it to you.

Do they have any explanation for the postcard pictures? Specifically why the Delaware postcard is of a car tunnel? Delaware doesn’t have a car tunnel. It looks like either the Lincoln or Holland tunnels to me. So it’s off by about 100 miles. Just curious.
You know, I was wondering the same thing. I think that this is where the photographers are from. That was my guess. But together they really look like a beautiful work of art. I hope this helps. Check out the site, zara.com went live today.

They used my photograph for New Jersey, and I’m an Englishman! My wife lives out there, so it is a place I have photographed often.
Each of the photographs should have been a shot taken within each of the 50 States.
That’s pretty incredible. How did you photo get selected?
